The Boom Box by Israeli designer Inbal Dayagi brings new meaning to the portable MP3 player of today. Within an old iconic shape - sort of an ihoop - Dayagi captures today’s on-the-go culture. Didn’t you ever have that moment where you’re walking down the street and have a song in your head? Well now it’s in your step, literally, as you push along this sustainable and rechargeable, battery operated music playing machine. Check out more pics of the Boom Box in action and its design here. Now all we need is for someone to remake “Do the Right Thing” with race relations remodeled within an Arab/Jewish context and Dayagi’s Boom Box, blasting Irsaeli rapper Subliminal, as the shtetl ghetto blaster.
